Former U.S. President Donald Trump dismissed the leaked audio recording of him discussing classified documents related to Iran, asserting that he did nothing wrong. Trump told Fox News Digital, "I don't know what recordings we should be concerned about because I don't do anything wrong. I do things correctly. I am a legitimate person," considering that "what was said (in the recording) was good and perfect. We committed no error. This is a complete hoax." He added, "My voice sounded good. What mistake did I make in those recordings? I haven't even seen the recording. All I know is that I did nothing wrong," pointing out that "we had a lot of papers piled up. In fact, you can hear the rustling of the paper. No one has said I did anything wrong aside from the fake news." It is noteworthy that transcripts of large portions of the audio recordings have already been included in the indictment issued by the Justice Department, which was revealed earlier this month, detailing the case against the former president where prosecutors cited a 2021 conversation as an example in which Trump allegedly showed classified materials to individuals without security clearances.
