Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus scored two goals in stoppage time, leading Arsenal to a 3-1 victory over Manchester United in an exciting Premier League match on Sunday. Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for United with a fast counterattack in the 27th minute, but Martin Ødegaard equalized for Arsenal just a minute later with a powerful ground shot.
It seemed the match would end in a 1-1 draw until Rice, who joined this summer in a big deal, received a corner from Bukayo Saka and unleashed a powerful shot into the net past goalkeeper Andre Onana in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
In the 11th minute of stoppage time, on another rapid counterattack, Jesus broke through on Onana's goal and calmly slotted a ground shot into the net. Arsenal moved up to fifth place with ten points, two points behind league leaders and defending champions Manchester City, while United dropped to eleventh place with six points from four matches. Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and West Ham United also have ten points.
