The President of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoomi, awarded the "Leader's Medal" to the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This is the highest and most prestigious honor granted by the Arab Parliament to leaders of Arab states. The ceremony was attended by the President of the People's National Assembly of Algeria, Ibrahim Bougali, the President of the Algerian Senate, Salah Goudjil, and several officials of the Algerian Republic.
Al-Asoomi explained that "the granting of this medal by the Arab Parliament to His Excellency the Algerian President comes in recognition from the Arab people for the tangible efforts exerted by His Excellency Abdelmadjid Tebboune in safeguarding Arab national security and enhancing Arab solidarity." He also affirmed that "the Arab Parliament appreciates His Excellency's efforts to contribute to resolving many crises and issues facing the Arab region."
He emphasized that "the tireless efforts and leading role played by His Excellency Abdelmadjid Tebboune in supporting Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian cause, represent a leading example in bearing the national Arab responsibility."
He praised "what the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria has achieved and the significant accomplishments made towards progress in various fields, enhancing its distinctive position and active presence in its Arab and regional and international surroundings, under the wise leadership of His Excellency Abdelmadjid Tebboune."
It is noteworthy that the Arab Parliament grants this medal in pride and appreciation for a leader who provides commendable and valued services to his country and to the Arab nation on national, Arab, and international levels.
