Title: Abdullah and Alama Meet with American Delegation to Secure Chronic Disease Medications

The heads of the parliamentary health committee, MP Bilal Abdullah, and the parliamentary foreign relations committee, MP Fadi Alama, continued their rounds focused on medications for chronic diseases and cancer. They met in the Parliament with a delegation from the American embassy led by advisor Jamie Omelia, where they briefed the delegation on the health situation in Lebanon amid difficult economic conditions. For the same purpose, they also visited the Swiss embassy in Beirut and met with the Swiss ambassador to Lebanon, Marion Weichsel, who expressed her willingness to assist Lebanon within available resources.
