Social media activists circulated a video showing the Saudi security forces monitoring a drug dealer, including the method of their raid on the group and what was found in their possession. The Saudi Public Security Agency published the video on its official page on the "X" platform, commenting: "The Special Tasks and Duties Force of the Medina Police arrested three residents for promoting methamphetamine (shabu)."
In detail, the Saudi security reported: "The Special Tasks and Duties Force of the Medina Police arrested three residents of Pakistani nationality for using a room in one of the neighborhoods as a base to promote 95.5 grams of methamphetamine (shabu). Their criminal method involved dividing the drugs into bags and hiding them in various locations in an open area. They have been detained, and legal measures have been taken against them, with their case referred to the relevant authorities."
The statement continued: "Security agencies urge citizens and residents to report any available information regarding any activities related to drug trafficking or promotion by contacting the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in other parts of the Kingdom, as well as the General Directorate for Drug Control hotline (995), and through the email 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be handled with complete confidentiality."
