Kremlin: Putin and Raisi Discuss OPEC+

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated today that "Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Ibrahim Raisi discussed interaction and cooperation within the OPEC+ alliance, which includes major oil producers, during their meeting yesterday." On Thursday, Saudi Arabia and Russia, the world's largest oil exporters, called on all OPEC+ members to join an agreement regarding production cuts to support the global economy following recent difficulties in the alliance's discussions.
