Damage to Ukrainian Port Infrastructure Facilities

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov announced on Wednesday that over 100 port infrastructure facilities have been damaged in Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports since July 18. He explained that "the export capacity from Ukrainian ports along the Danube River has decreased by about 0.5 million tons of grain per month due to Russian attacks." He wrote on the social media platform X: "This threatens a food shortage in countries that rely on Ukrainian agricultural products." Regarding Ukrainian grain exports, he revealed that they "have decreased by about three million tons per month since that date, one day after Russia withdrew from the UN-supported grain export agreement via the Black Sea."
