Nepal Embassy in Lebanon Assures Citizens to "Not Worry"

Contrary to the urgent calls made by Arab and foreign embassies for citizens to leave Lebanon or exercise caution, the honorary general consulate of the Republic of Nepal in Lebanon reassured its community today in a statement that "there is no need to worry." It extended "best regards to the Nepali community in Lebanon, who play a pivotal role in supporting the Nepali economy." The consulate stated, "We would like to assure you that we are closely monitoring the current situation in Lebanon and coordinating with the embassy in Egypt and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nepal. The consulate will inform you in case of any emergencies, so there is no need to worry at this time."
