The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa reported: "Political circles in Beirut are anticipating the sermon of Maronite Patriarch Bechara Raï during today's Mass in Bkerki, where he is expected to deliver a strong response against the attempts of some Christian forces to obstruct the extension of Army Commander General Joseph Aoun's term or to delay his retirement on January 10, in response to the extraordinary circumstances Lebanon is facing, starting from the South connected to the repercussions of the genocide being perpetrated by the Israelis in Gaza."
