"Ghouls" Sniper Rifles Take Out 6 Israeli Soldiers in One Day: What About This Weapon?

On Wednesday, Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades managed to snip six Israeli soldiers in the Al-Zana area of Khan Younis, achieving precise hits. What about this locally-made rifle? The "Ghouls" is a Palestinian-manufactured sniper rifle, developed and produced by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas in Gaza, featuring high-precision specifications. The snipers are of .14.5 mm caliber, with a range of up to 2 kilometers. It was revealed during the war on Gaza in 2014, specifically on the 28th day of the conflict. Al-Qassam Brigades noted that the rifle was named "Ghouls" in honor of the martyr Adnan Al-Ghul, one of the prominent engineers of Al-Qassam Brigades, who was assassinated by the Israeli army in 2004. They mentioned that it had been used in sniper operations since the onset of the war on Gaza in 2014.
