Ukrainian police reported on Monday that Russian shelling resulted in the deaths of two women and injured ten others in the town of Bilopillya in northern Ukraine near the border with Russia. The police indicated in a Telegram post, "Russia launched four artillery strikes, three of which hit the center of the town in the Sumy region." They added, "Two women (aged 76 and 74) lost their lives from injuries they sustained while on the street during the shelling, and one of the ten injured is in serious condition."
