Iraqi Army: We Reserve the Right to Respond Appropriately to Turkish Strikes

The spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Yahya Rasul, confirmed that the Turkish targeting of the Arbat Airport in Kurdistan is a violation of Iraqi sovereignty and all international agreements, and a breach of the principles of good neighborliness from Turkey, with which Iraq has historical ties. Rasul added yesterday, Tuesday, that "Iraq reserves the right to respond appropriately and in a timely manner to the Turkish airstrikes within Iraqi territory," but noted that Iraqi diplomacy is working to resolve this issue, according to the Arab World News Agency.
