The High Court in London ruled today, Thursday, that Prince Harry can move forward with some legal claims against a British newspaper owned by media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, but stated that his allegations of phone tapping were brought too late. Prince Harry is suing the News Group Newspapers, owned by Murdoch, for multiple unlawful acts that he claims were conducted for the benefit of the now-defunct newspapers The Sun and News of the World, from the mid-1990s until 2016. The News Group Newspapers argued during hearings in April that "the claims should be dismissed as they have exceeded the six-year limitation period for filing a lawsuit."
