Israeli Airstrike Hits AFP Office in Gaza

The French Foreign Ministry announced today, Friday, that the French Institute in Gaza was targeted by an Israeli airstrike, although there were no reports of injuries among the staff at the site. Meanwhile, the AFP office in Gaza was also hit. The ministry requested that Israeli authorities provide "concrete" reasons for the bombing of the institute "without delay." In a separate statement, the ministry also expressed "serious concern" about the number of civilian casualties in Gaza. AFP reported on social media platform "X" that its office in the Gaza Strip sustained significant damage from the Israeli military strike.
