The collapse of a building in the "Hadayek El Quba" area of Cairo resulted in the deaths of 13 people and injuries to 4 others, according to "Ahram Portal" on Monday. The portal indicated that an engineering committee has been formed to inspect the neighboring homes of the collapsed building in the area. Egyptian media reported that the "causer of the Hadayek El Quba building collapse" has been detained. Additionally, a building in the Bakus area of Alexandria collapsed on Saturday evening, resulting in at least two fatalities and 3 injuries, according to Egyptian media. The Public Prosecution stated in a message on its official account on Sunday that "the head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, Counselor Hafiz Abbas, ordered an urgent investigation into the incident of the collapse of a three-story building in the Bakus area of East Alexandria, leading to several casualties and injuries as a result of the incident."
