Title: Lebanese Army Raids Syrian Refugee Camps in Akkar

The Army Command's Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: "A unit of the army, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, raided several Syrian refugee camps in the Al-Samakiyya area of Akkar and arrested a number of Syrians for entering Lebanon illegally and for roaming without identification documents." They also seized counterfeit currency, an illegal vehicle, and a seal belonging to the treasurer of one of the Lebanese towns. The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees have begun under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
