Funeral of Najah Salam to Her Final Resting Place - Photos

The great artist, the late Najah Salam, was laid to rest in an impressive ceremony after Friday prayers at Al-Khashoggi Mosque in Beirut. The funeral was attended by political, artistic, media, and family figures, including President Tamam Salam, former Minister Mohammad Machnouk, artist Moein Sherif, Beirut Mayor Abdullah Darwish, and the head of the Federation of Professional Artists Nima Badawi, along with the late artist's family members, Samar and Rim, and their children, Samar's husband Amjad Al-Attafi, her sister Samah, and a crowd of journalists and family friends. The Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Aboud, sent a wreath of flowers. The family announced that condolences would be accepted on Saturday and Sunday at the Radisson Blu - Center Dune Hotel, first floor, from 3 PM to 7 PM.
