Russia Arrests Man in Crimea for Suspected Espionage

Russian media reported that the Federal Security Service (FSB) apprehended a Russian man in Crimea on suspicion of treason, as he is accused of transmitting military secrets to Ukraine. In a statement relayed by the agency, it was noted that the unnamed man "collected and sent information about specific locations, including geographical coordinates, to a representative of the Ukrainian army." The Crimean Peninsula, internationally recognized as part of Ukraine, has been under de facto Russian control since 2014.
