Customs at Beirut Airport Foil Cocaine Smuggling Attempt

The passenger department of Rafic Hariri International Airport customs in Beirut successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of cocaine estimated at 8 kilograms from a Lebanese passenger arriving from Africa on a flight from Accra to Lagos. The contraband was discovered on his body through professional techniques by customs officers at the airport after they became suspicious of him. He was referred to the drug office for investigation based on the directives of the competent judiciary.
