Russians as the Top Buyers of Real Estate in Turkey

Russian citizens topped the list of foreign nationalities purchasing real estate in Turkey during October. According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, 2,535 homes were sold to foreigners in the last October, with the share of residential sales to foreigners reaching 2.7 percent of total sales. Antalya ranked first among Turkish provinces in the number of homes sold to foreigners, with 931 properties, followed by Istanbul with 758 and Mersin with 294.
