The Internal Security Forces' Information Division received information regarding an unidentified individual committing thefts of money from the pockets of worshippers in a mosque located in the town of Al-Marj in the Bekaa region.
Consequently, the division intensified its field inquiries and investigations to identify and apprehend the suspect. As a result of the investigations and surveillance, the division was able to identify the individual, named F. A. (born in 1985, unregistered). On March 16, 2023, after careful monitoring, one of the division's patrols managed to arrest him in the town of Al-Marj, seizing a sum of money in both US dollars and Lebanese pounds.
During the interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him and stated that the amounts of money seized were taken from the pockets of worshippers in one of the town's mosques. The necessary legal action was taken against him, and he and the seized items were referred to the relevant authority, following the instructions of the competent judiciary.
