U.S. police announced yesterday, Wednesday, that a man suspected of stealing a car in Connecticut and then robbing a bank died after crashing the vehicle into a tree. Windsor police reported that they received a call after 9 a.m. indicating that a car had been stolen from outside a school, with a 17-month-old child in the back seat. Authorities stated, "The child was awake and responsive" after the incident that occurred in Windsor, north of Hartford. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene. The child's mother was taken to the scene and accompanied the child to the hospital.
