Developments in the South between Bissri and Lazaro

Acting Director General of General Security, Major General Elias Bissri, met today, Thursday, in his office with the Belgian ambassador to Lebanon, Kwin Verfak, where they discussed the general situation. Major General Bissri also received UNIFIL Commander Major General Arnaldo Lazaro Sainz, and they discussed developments in the region and the role of the United Nations forces in ensuring security and stability in the South.
