Zelensky: Europe's Lifting of Grain Export Ban is "True Unity"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the European Union's decision not to extend the export ban on Ukrainian grains, describing it as a demonstration of true unity and trust. After Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary indicated on Friday that they would impose their own ban following the EU's decision to lift it, Zelensky stated that if neighboring countries violate EU law, "Ukraine will respond in a civilized manner." He added after talks with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, "It is important now for European unity to also work at the bilateral level so that neighbors support Ukraine during the war."
