Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with Minister of Social Affairs Hector Hajjar this morning at the Grand Serail to discuss various issues related to the ministry. Following the meeting, Hajjar stated: "I visited President Mikati to discuss several topics, including the loan related to the Aman program. After the Minister of Finance signed the draft loan agreement from the World Bank concerning the additional financing for the Aman program and referred it to the Prime Minister's Office, His Excellency confirmed that he will forward the file to the House of Representatives within a week." The discussion also included the importance of announcing the approval of the national social protection strategy, the topic of the Chinese grant, and the necessity of finding solutions to the challenges faced by care institutions, including facilitating their process of obtaining funds from banks.
