Dar Al-Fatwa announced that the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday falls on Wednesday, 12 Rabi' al-Awwal 1445 AH, corresponding to September 27, 2023 CE. On this occasion, the Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, congratulated the Lebanese in general and Muslims in particular on "this fragrant occasion that calls for tolerance, compassion, love, morals, and adherence to what is mentioned in the noble prophetic biography," asking God to "grant security, stability, and peace to Lebanon and the region."
