Bo Habib Participates in the Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the Arab Summit

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdullah Bo Habib participated in the preparatory ministerial meeting for the 32nd Arab Summit and held a series of bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Syria, Oman, the UAE, Kuwait, and Algeria, in addition to the special envoy of the Russian Foreign Minister for Middle Eastern affairs. His Excellency Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bo Habib, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Lebanon on the sidelines of the preparatory ministerial meeting for the Arab Summit in Jeddah.

Bo Habib discussed with his Arab counterparts bilateral relations, as well as coordinating efforts to activate joint Arab action in light of Syria's return to the Arab League. He emphasized the importance of the success of the Arab ministerial committee authorized to engage in dialogue with Syria and to take joint steps towards reaching necessary solutions in Syria.

During his meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bo Habib, Al-Safadi affirmed Jordan's continued support for Lebanon to help it overcome the crisis it is facing.

Bo Habib also addressed recent developments in the region, starting from the Saudi-Iranian agreement and moving toward the Arab reopening to Syria and the positive repercussions for stability in the region.
