Berri Sends Eid Greetings: Inspired by Values of Solidarity to Create a True Celebration

The Speaker of the Parliament, Nabih Berri, addressed the Lebanese people in general and Muslims in particular on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, extending his warmest greetings and asking God to bring the holy month and all blessed occasions back with goodness and prosperity. He expressed hope that "this spiritual occasion serves as a humanitarian message that represents constant calls for solidarity, compassion, and unity, and is an opportunity to draw inspiration from all those values and lessons, thus creating a true celebration and recovery from all crises for Lebanon and the Lebanese people." Berri clarified in a statement on Thursday that "due to the current circumstances, he apologizes for not receiving congratulations for the holiday."
