Iraqi Defense Minister Arrives in Turkey After Ankara Explosion

Iraqi news agency reported that Defense Minister Thabet Al-Abbasi arrived in Ankara today, Wednesday. Turkish media stated that he will meet with his Turkish counterpart, Yasar Güler. Turkey launched airstrikes in northern Iraq targeting sites affiliated with the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party. Two attackers detonated a bomb near government buildings in the Turkish capital on Sunday morning. Both attackers were killed, and two police officers were injured. The Kurdistan Workers' Party claimed responsibility.
