The Jerusalem Post reported that a well-known Israeli model was expelled from a hotel in Cairo, Egypt, after her nationality was discovered. The report indicated that the model, Shai Zanco, was accompanying rapper Travis Scott, who was set to perform in Egypt.
After a day of their arrival, the hotel staff discovered that she was Israeli. Taking advantage of her being away from the singer and his crew, they requested her to leave immediately. Zanco stated, "I felt very tense and really felt insulted. In the four years I’ve been in the spotlight, I have never felt antisemitism or faced any issues because I am Jewish and Israeli. This time it was different. I left the hotel directly to the airport and found out that the only available flight was heading to Paris."
