The UAE Minister of Energy, Suhail Al Mazrouei, confirmed today, Saturday, that the "OPEC+" alliance is taking sufficient measures to stabilize the oil market. In a press interview about the alliance, which supplies about 40% of global crude oil, he stated that "the role of OPEC+ is pivotal in the energy market for both producers and consumers." He also mentioned in a meeting of energy ministers from G20 member countries in India: "I believe what we are doing in OPEC+ is adequate, and we are addressing the issue of supply and demand. We are doing this on behalf of all producers worldwide and in favor of achieving a balance between supply and demand for all consumers as well." The "OPEC+" group includes the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allies, including Russia.
