Ukrainian police announced on Friday that two women were killed and six people were injured in a Russian missile attack on a school in a village near the frontline in the Donetsk region. The police indicated that the deceased were a 56-year-old primary school teacher and a 44-year-old accountant. They confirmed that "Russian forces destroyed a school with civilians after directly targeting it." The Prosecutor's Office stated, "The school located in the village of Serhiyivka only had 12 staff members present. There were no students at the Ukrainian school today." It added that four men aged between 54 and 69 and two women aged between 24 and 34 were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries, and an investigation into the attack has been initiated.
