Tripoli... Bomb Near Army Checkpoint and Gunfire

An unknown individual on a motorcycle threw a bomb towards one of the buildings near the army checkpoint in the Al-Irouniya area around midnight, then fled the scene. No injuries were reported, and a military force arrived at the location and began a wide deployment in the area. In Tripoli, there were intermittent gunfire reports during the night, particularly in the Zahriya area and nearby.
