Al-Qassam Brigades and Their Statement No. 1

Hours after launching Operation "Al-Aqsa Deluge" in the settlements surrounding Gaza, the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" announced in Statement No. 1 the continuation of the operation. It stated: "Under a heavy rocket cover and targeting the enemy's command and control systems, the fighters of the Al-Qassam Brigades were able to breach the enemy's defensive line and execute a coordinated simultaneous attack on more than 50 sites in the Gaza Division and southern region of the occupying army, leading to the collapse of the division's defense. Our fighters are still engaged in heroic battles at 25 sites as of this moment, and the fighting is currently taking place at the 'Re'im' base, the command center of the Gaza Division."
