Zelensky Reveals Alternative Black Sea Corridor Exports

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated today, Thursday, that a total of 12 million tons have been exported so far via the alternative Black Sea corridor. He added during his nightly video address that the corridor has led to "significant results, especially in December, which is noticeable at the level of our entire economy." The alternative corridor was opened after Russia withdrew in July from the UN-brokered grain export agreement through Black Sea ports and threatened to treat all ships as potential military targets.
