Kylian Mbappé, Paris Saint-Germain winger, responded to comments made by French Football Federation president Noël Le Graët, who downplayed the significance of legendary French coach Zinedine Zidane and 1998 World Cup champion. In statements to French radio "Monte Carlo," Le Graët claimed that he is not concerned about the possibility of Zidane coaching Brazil and emphasized that he has not contacted Zidane regarding coaching the French national team, nor has he ever considered it.
Le Graët stated, "Zidane coaching Brazil? I don't know, I would be surprised. He can do what he wants; I can hardly believe that when it comes to him. It's not my concern. I have never met him, and we have never thought about parting ways with Didier Deschamps (the current coach of the French national team)."
When asked if he would feel hurt if Zidane took over coaching Brazil, Le Graët replied, "It's not my concern; he can go wherever he wants! He can find a big club or a big national team."
Regarding whether Zidane has attempted to contact him in recent months regarding the possibility of coaching France, the French Football Federation president responded, "Definitely not. I wouldn’t even talk to him on the phone." He concluded his remarks by stating, "Zidane wants a special plan for himself in coaching; create a special plan for Zidane to find another club or country to coach."
