The "Black Sheep" sweater, worn by the late British Princess Diana, is set to be auctioned this summer with an estimated price of up to $80,000. The sweater is designed by the brand "Worn and Wonderful." Sotheby's will offer it for sale in an online auction scheduled from August 31 to September 14. Diana first wore the sweater in June 1981 while watching Prince Charles play polo just a month before their wedding, which has sparked speculation about its significance. The sweater features an image of a black sheep among a group of white sheep. It is expected to fetch between $50,000 and $80,000. Princess Diana's private secretary returned the sweater to "Worn and Wonderful" for repairs, but the brand sent a replacement piece to the princess at that time, which Diana wore in some photos taken in 1983. Joanna Osborne, co-founder of "Worn and Wonderful," discovered the original sweater in the loft of her home in March.
