The African Development Bank announced on Monday that it has "approved a loan of $131 million for Egypt to enhance the business environment in the country as it recovers from some external shocks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine." The bank stated in a release: "The loan will promote private sector development and economic diversification."
