The Criminal Court in Beirut sentenced the detained Hussein Fayyad and the Syrian Hassan Al-Ghanash to death after convicting them of the murder of the four victims in Ansar: Basima Abbas and her daughters Rima, Tala, and Manal Safawi. They were also ordered to pay two million dollars to the plaintiffs from the heirs.
