Emergency Meeting at the Ministry of Interior

Information from "Al-Anbaa Electronic" indicates that "the Minister of Interior in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, who is closely monitoring the issue of displaced Lebanese and Syrians in the hot zones, is holding a meeting today at noon with representatives from relevant United Nations organizations. This meeting will be attended by the Governor of the South, the Governor of Nabatieh, the mayors of both governorates, as well as several officers from the Ministry of Interior and officials responsible for the file at the Ministry, and the Disaster Management Authority, to discuss procedures and study the steps required for the critical phase the country is going through."
