A video posted online shows the destroyed facades of several stores in a two-story shopping complex, with rescuers carrying a person away from the explosion site. Authorities stated that the police have arrested the restaurant owner and launched an investigation into the incident. In June, an explosion at a barbecue restaurant resulted in the deaths of 31 people in the Ningxia region in northwestern China, marking one of the worst explosions in recent years, prompting Chinese President Xi Jinping to order officials to address safety risks nationwide.
