The two main telecommunications companies in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian Telecom and Jawwal, announced today (Friday) in a statement the partial restoration of communication services in the Gaza Strip after a limited amount of fuel was supplied through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). The companies stated: "We would like to announce the beginning of the partial return of communication services (landline, mobile, and internet) in various areas within the Gaza Strip, following the provision of a limited amount of fuel through the relief agency (UNRWA)."
