A PETA activist interrupted the fashion show by joining the models on stage, holding a sign that read "Hermes: Stop Using Animal Skins." A statement from the organization, which condemns the use of crocodile skins by the brand, explained that "PETA stormed the Hermes platform to urge the brand to abandon these materials."
