The Israeli Ministry of Defense reported today, Monday, that Israel has signed an agreement worth 1.44 billion shekels (400 million dollars) for the sale of Spike anti-tank missiles to Greece. These missiles are produced by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, a state-owned company. This follows days after an agreement of the same value was reached to sell a defense system to Finland, which recently joined NATO. In this context, Yoav Har-Even, the company's CEO, stated, "Spike missiles will enhance the operational toolkit of the Greek army, and we expect further expansion through strategic partnerships in the near future." The Israeli Minister of Defense mentioned that the deal strengthens the ties between the two countries.
