A statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Defense reported that the crew of an "F-15SA" fighter jet belonging to the air force were killed when their aircraft crashed during a routine training mission in the city of Dhahran, eastern Saudi Arabia.
After the announcement of the warplane's crash at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran, questions arose regarding the cause of the F-15's downfall, and investigations are ongoing. The ministry's official spokesperson stated that investigations have already begun. Inside the plane were Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar and Captain Majid Matar Al-Otaibi.
