The Ukrainian army stated today, Tuesday, that "Russian forces are still attacking the city of Bakhmut in the eastern part of the country, but they have not been able to seize it before Victory Day celebrated by Moscow on May 9." The Ukrainian army is preparing, as expected, to launch a large-scale counteroffensive in an attempt to regain the territories occupied by Russia in southern and eastern Ukraine.
