American businessman Elon Musk warned during a conference on the platform "X" about the potential outbreak of a Third World War due to conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. The Wall Street Journal reported Musk's statement: "We must establish peace in Ukraine, and I believe we need to restore normal relations with Russia." He considered Kyiv's military actions against Moscow to be meaningless, adding that, alongside the Middle East war, they could provoke a global conflict. He pointed out that Washington would struggle in the face of such a dangerous alliance, as it lacks the appropriate military industrial capabilities. In October of last year, Musk tweeted that he doubted Ukraine's ability to win in the event of a large-scale war with Russia, urging the parties to seek peace and presenting his vision for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Musk's plan called for a "redo vote" in Donbas "under UN supervision," the retention of Crimea "as an official part of Russia, as it has been since 1783," ensuring water supplies to Crimea, and maintaining Ukraine's neutral status.
