The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: "On 27-8-2023, members of the checkpoint at Dahr al-Baydar in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, on the Beirut - Bekaa road, arrested a person named W.F. (born in 1996, Lebanese), while he was in a Nissan SUV. Upon searching him and the vehicle, a quantity of hashish and 15 pills of various sizes were seized." The arrested individual, along with the seized items, was taken to the Dahr al-Baydar police station for legal proceedings based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.
