The Fate of the Grain Export Agreement is Still Unknown

The Russian news agency TASS reported, citing sources at the United Nations, that the agreement mediated by the UN allowing for the safe export of Ukrainian grain across the Black Sea has not been renewed as of yesterday, Sunday. However, they stated that "anything is possible." The agency attributed a statement to one of the sources saying, "We are waiting for Moscow's position, and anything is possible." Russia has threatened to withdraw from the agreement, which expires today, Monday, stating that its demands for improved exports of grains and fertilizers have not been met.
