Update on the Lebanese Boat Hijacked by Libyan Pirates

Human rights lawyer Mohammed Sablouh confirmed in an interview with "Al-Hurra" channel that the "Tariq Ibn Ziyad Brigade" of the "Libyan National Army" has released 80 individuals from illegal migrants from Lebanon and Syria after their boat was hijacked. He noted that the release of the remaining thirty individuals is expected in the coming hours. Sablouh added, "After persistent follow-ups through local and international organizations and media platforms, we were able yesterday (Friday) to learn that a number of detained migrants have been released but have remained on Libyan territory, and we are promised that the rest will be released in the coming hours." Regarding the conditions of those who were released, Sablouh stated, "There are several injured individuals who were shot by the (Libyan pirates) before being intercepted by the boats of the Tariq Ibn Ziyad Brigade, and each person released in Benghazi was given 10 dollars to secure their daily needs."
